Just booked some more of the holiday starting in June. Trying to cram in a bit at times but plenty of relaxing at others.
All flights booked and there are plenty but basically have a few days in KL, a few days in Cairo and then off to Trumpland for about a week and then down to the Caribbean for the cricket. Should get to 3 days of the second test in Grenada and then 4 days at a resort in Antigua before heading to Jamaica to catch 3 days of the third test but at a pinch I might be able to squeeze in 4 days. Back to the US to catch a friend and then make our way to Seattle for the 10 days of Alaskan cruise before finishing with about a week in LA/San Fran. The poor Aussie dollar exchange rate has really battered the wallet though

Might not survive.
The 4 days at the Antigua resort we paid a bit extra for the all inclusive resort. 9 restaurants and 6 bars with everything included including minibar with beers in room replenished daily and spirits in room. Comes with our own private butler who waits on you all day whilst lounging on the beach :)

Five spice on the meat side, stab the skin all over and brush with white vinegar and then heavy salt coating. Load it into a foil tray / boat for 30 mins @ 200°c

Take it out, scrape the salt off and brush with oil lightly. Back in for 30 mins @ 200°c.

Gold.

Heading over to my favourite spot in SA next week, Port Vincent.

I haven't had any leave since my Bali trip in June last year so it will be nice to unwind, head over Monday and then head back after Friday's dawn service there.

I generally get the deluxe beachfront spa cabin but the girlfriend bought a camper not long ago so we're taking that for it's maiden voyage, I'll probably end up asking to pay the extra to move into a cabin for the last cutla nights. It's pretty good how cheap powered sites are though, about a quarter of the cost and you still have the shared amenities to cook, clean and poo.

Booked for Bali again in June.

Enjoy mate, magnificent part of the world and a cracking time of the year to be over there.

Friday morning we head to Penola with 2 other couples, hired a BNB just out of town, Friday golf at Naracoorte, Saturday hitting the wineries/lunching, Sunday the Penola Cup (racecourse is walking distance)...Monday recovery drive to Port Fairy via some distilleries and meet another couple, Tuesday golf at Pt Fairy, Wednesday check out the area and a trip to Warnambool, Thursday come home, Friday up to Clare to watch son play footy that night, return home for my footy Sat morning into Roos/Port that arvo.

Im sure there are some great trips planned by many over the next week, little old Adelaide is going to be pretty quiet I think!

Cheers mate, you too, sounds like you've got it all covered, I think my time will be shared between hiking, relaxing, fishing and a few trips to the Ventnor.

Yes, I jumped on the Easter/ANZAC loophole some time ago.

Have done the Clare races the last 3 Easters, after last years debacle at the races (no buses to get people back to town) we booked Penola while we were still up there for 2025, be nice to see a different part of the state.

Friday the roses will get pruned and I've got a bag of horse exhaust ready to go around them. It's spread around the veggie patch at the moment, half will remain and half will go around the roses. The snow peas will go in on Friday. Off to the mates place a few houses away to have lunch Friday, walk around to Alberton Friday night.

About a month ago I scalped my lawn and gave it a good feed, I've mowed it once since and I'll get into it again on Saturday morning and it'll get another feed. hopefully Mother Nature plays her part on the weekend.

Sunday down to Aldinga for brunch with the family, home for the footy Sunday arvo.

Monday, please be dry so I can get some miles into the XT that has come back after a bare metal respray.
