March 3rd. No point in opening it if a plane were to come down from polluted fuel. Let's get it right first. Can't really see what the fuss is about..?

It would be nice to think it would be open before the Roosters trip to Darwin, but I'm not holding my breath

Same here, can't see it happening, I was having this conversation with my work mate last week who went overseas in October and she was hoping to get out in the new airport, I think we've got as much chance as she did (ie none) of it being up and running by the time we head off, would be nice though.

Put me down for Thursday before Easter in the airport stakes.

Would have made it a $4.50 taxi ride instead of $5.70

Its open for Regional Express (REX) who are the only airline operating out of it so far. I have heard its a joke for REX passengers as it is about a 1KM walk from where you land to your luggage, you also now have to go through security when you arrive. When I flew over in November the pilot said the new terminal wont be going til February and I looked at the paper that day and the big bosses at the airport said two weeks.

April 1st.
This is what happens with constant outsourcing and contracting.
Makes it easier for those involved to pass the buck when the shit hits the fan as well.

Hate to break up your cosy Bay relationship, but Stan was a hell of a lot closer with 22nd Feb...
