$5 note - time for a change

Postby Mr66 » Fri Dec 21, 2012 11:27 pm

Let's get rid of the useless, unelected foreigner who occupies
one side and replace it with Elisabeth Murdoch.
Surely a fitting tribute to one of the truly great Australians.
If one person does it, it's insanity. If millions do it, it's religion.

Was at the watermark (we call it the pissstain) a while back and we somehow got on the debate of the colour (colour you think first) of notes. The $5 note is purple not pink and the $20 is red not orange.

Time for a $5 coin?
Although I don't carry coins much as they wreck your pockets.
I keep a few in the cars for parking meters.

Ochre - that goes in the fence sitting pile. 50% said pink, the bundy may have escalated the debate.

Leave the freakin thing alone. One good thing about America is their currency. The dollar note is a major mover used in tipping among other things.

All the septic notes look the same, particularly in a dimly-lit bar. Not useful when you pull out a couple of ones for a tip, only to find later that you've mistakenly given the bartender a fitty...
