Xtrails once again have issues, the t30 motors don't last very long unless maintained precisely, also heater fans and a few other electrical issues..may sound minor but heater fans can be up to $450 second hand. In saying that I believe they are a nice drive
I did drive one and it did drive well.
However, all three of my advisers warned me off it, as did a Malaysian student I know who used to work for Nissan there.

Yes, not bad.
I test drove one before buying my Suzuki, but I found the suspension a bit soft and floaty for my taste.
Then, I tend not to like what is called "comfortable" by most makers.

A Skoda. If it's good enough for GWS, it should be good enough for you.
It's all the SANFL's fault.

That and the CVT Renault Koleos are a couple I meant to test, but never got around to.
I did drive the Lexus Hybrid SUV, but it had very soft and floaty suspension I could never live with.

Hey experts, i'm looking at upgrading our vehicle to a 7 seater

The best one we saw was a 2004 honda oddysey. My wife really liked it, ut drives smoothly and it was really well looked after. I didn't look at service books or under the bonnet or anything but it has 93,000Kms on the clock and priced at $19,990 on road.

What are the thoughts on honda as a manufacturer and does anyone have any experience with the odyssey?
I am not talking to you for 3 minutes because you punched me in the head and it hurt and that was not okay for you to do

also, while i love the look of the oddysey, they did have a slight problem for a while, i think it has been fixed though. there was a tendency for them to spontaneously combust. however, i agree with others, honda do tend to make good cars, and as long as the fire problem has been sorted i reckon the oddysey would be a good option. the extra seats without looking like a fridge!

if you're looking for around 2004 vintage, a Mazda MPV may suit.

I've had a 2002 model since new and it has served us well.

7 seats, 2nd and 3rd row seats are individual bucket seats that can be removed, V6 3L 152kW engine.
