Nice work Mal. There is a forum which tells you how to turn a vinyl Jukebox into a Cd/mp3 one. I know because I have been reading it during the past few days.

Motor and everything else works fine.

Excellent work Strawb. Are you going to get it fixed up by Dickesons or Amusement Worx? Which one did you get?

I brought it from Bumper Action. I will be getting the manual and doing what work I can myself or get them to do it. They have been very helpful in letting me know what is needed. I tracked down parts for it from the states and England.
It is an NSM Prestige 160 A Classic.

I fired up the jukebox two days ago for the first time in a long time. My 4 and 2 year old kids had never seen a record "play" before so they were fascinated on how the records were picked up, how they "played" and how the sound got to the speakers. They stood there (just as I would've) looking at the records spin around, dumbfounded and wanting more and more!

Just watching their faces was gold!

Got it working after three trips to a place near Dandenong. It is great to have all the great music playing. I enjoy having a few ales and listening to the Jukebox. Fun part is putting them into groups and keeping them in their groups.

My JB is covered in Christmas toys that we can't find homes for at the moment. Hopefully I'll get a chance to fire it up by the 24 of December.

If anyone else owns 45 Jukeboxes a good idea is to play them atleast once a month keep the selector and record playing parts all working. They can freeze up and then it becomes the costly part of repairing them.
