Mmmmm - I've gone basketball, soccer and horse racing but would have topped the list with American football had it been included. 50 or 60 big guys wearing hats, long pants, gloves and tennis shoes taking three or four hours to do nothing on a large piece of plastic lawn while an army of slightly smaller people wearing headsets and carrying clipboards run up and down the sidelines waving their arms and talking (to God perhaps?) gets my nod as the worst form of sport on the planet.

Good call Sky Pilot, the NFL is the biggest yawn fest in the world. ( Just behind tennis ) ;)

I once witnessed the last 2 minutes of a game take 25 minutes to be played out and nothing is more confusing than a bloke punting the ball in the air and the bloke catching waves his arms around before he catches it for it to be declared a "fair catch" then proceeds to drop one knee to the ground and advance the ball 20 yards up the field.

Freaks.
If you want to go quickly, go alone.

If you want to go far, go together.

Obviously u boys don't know too much about the great game of football (american)...
Great game to watch if u know what's going on.

And a fair catch gets spotted where u catch it. Catching the ball and kneeling in the end zone for a touchback gets u spotted at the 20 yard line.

You all seem to want every sport to be like yours with stupid amounts of goals. Why does every sport in the world need to be like having one team score 20 goals and the other team score 5?????? wheres the fun in losing by 100 plus points??? . You all cant tell me theres fun in watching your team lose by 100 plus points???

A goal is a goal, not oh heres a point/behind (whatever its called) for missing it....

Yep welcome aboard. Notice we aren't on a soccer forum here.

I know heaps about it, played it on the megadrive several times, I don't get into watching it, too stop starty for my liking, they spend more time ot playing than actual play time, each to their own but I find it boring.

Have been getting into it since it has been on One. I really like the concept of the sport itself, but get a bit frustrated with the stop-start and the typical Americanisation of a sport and American sportspeople, ie how they react when they seem to make a relatively simple tackle. In an age where us Aussie Rules fans are a bit rueful of the lack of position specialisation compared to the old days, this sport takes specialisation to a ridiculous level. Also, watching it gives a new respect for Rugby League players who both have to attack and defend.

I didn't list the Tour Down Under/Cycling in my previous post on this thread, but with the event on soon, its timely to mention this as being right up there for me in the most boring sports.

I don't mind as much the cycling in the Olympics/Commonwealth Games where they race in the velodrome though.
