i should rephrase that Bran Flakes with sultanas. not the Kelloggs variety.

far less sugar in it than the kelloggs brand

No worries FATSO about the cereal
Just about to hava Green Tea
I buy the loosed organic tea from the Perfect Cup
I let it brew in my plunger for 3 minutes then drink it

GET SMART [99] CAMPAIGN DAY 2

Breakfast
2 large glasses of h2o followed by an 8k brisk walk
2 large glasses of h2o on return
2 pieces of toast and VEGEMITE
Cup of Green Tea

Snack
pieces of fresh fruit and large glass of water

Lunch
Salad platter consisting of tomato, asparagus, cucmber, capsicum, carrot, mushrooms and slices of ham with cottage cheese
Handful of strawberries
Cup of Green Tea

Dinner
Grilled Atlantic Salmon and Salad
Handful of raw nuts and apple segments
Large glass of water

I've lost a kg in the past week, simply from being very sick. At least something good came from it.

Im doing it different to the Big Fat Magpie !
Im weening myself into the camPAIN
Spent the last few days gradually decreasing the amount of bad to good food
I plan to spend about 7 days in this pattern then get into diet food
To diet immediately is frought with danger
Most people end up with hunger pangs
A kilo a week will be the plan

I wont be exercising as Im having back problems
So Im gunna have to do it with food management

BREAKFAST
Dried figs/water/pistacchio nuts/herbs
Green tea
LUNCH
Lamb yiros/water
Potato chips
DINNER
Chicken [fried] coleslaw
Camomile/Valerian tea


By about Monday next week it will be a full on food managment

Your back isn't going to get better not exercising. You have to do something to fix it. Exercise is often the best thing, sitting makes it worse.

That's exactly what I'm doing Mal.

Slowly the fridge is becoming more packet with fruit and veg and less with other un-healthier things.
Have not even bought 'snack' food for the kids lunches next week. It's just fruit and wholegrain sandwiches for them too :D

Also... I was always told aim to lose 1kg a week... anything over that is just 'fluid'.
Not sure if that's the case or not.
