I am 49 years old today
My weight has esculated to 107.5
I am embarrased being fatter than BOONEY+PUNKY
Its time to react

I am a candidate for diseases such Cardio Vascular disease, Cancer and Diabetes
I hereby UNDERTAKE to do something as Im heading for a collision course for an early death

I want to the biggest loser , because quite frankly i am the biggest loser

The next few days will be to alkaline my body as its too acidic from my indiscretional eating
of hot dogs/pizza/hungry jacks/pies and pasties/coke/beer etc etc[but no subway or maccas!]
I will permit myself a pizza for my birthday tonight[at the good life pizza bar in hutt street, best pizza in the world]
Then It will be the challenge for me.

I will have a 85% good 15% bad diet for 12 months

So by 08/05/58 I want to be 85 kilos and raise the bat for my first 50

107.5 was
106.0 now

Just aiming for .5 of a kilo per week and 2 kilos per month
That will equate to 24 kilo loss in 12 months by May 2008
I have allowed for xmas festivities
so if 107.5 = 85.0 I will achieve my objective.

Simple game plan.

Watching the AFL last night I noticed another MALknown ex coach who has put on a pound or two. Thought it was Bert Newton for a minute.

You boys might want to send him a Malnessage and tell him to leave the golf cart in the garage for a while and join your challenge

I peaked at 105Kg in early 2006 having slowly grown from 101Kg in 1996. I got down to 98Kg by November 2006, but blew out again to 103kg over Christmas. I am now 100Kg.

My strategy is to cut out high fat food and sugary products and otherwise eat what I like but less of it. The trick seems to be to put less on the plate as I have problems leaving it once it is there. Target weight is 85Kg - I am 180cm but heavy framed and fairly muscular. [Ricciuto build style - hair is similar too but I'm older than him.]

I no longer have the 80Kg dog and the excuse that I need to outweigh him, and my wife is 50Kg and already fairly obedient. [But please don't tell her I said that.]

Guess i am naturally lucky when in comes to weight. at 6 ft stable at 82 kg's, does not fluctuate more than 1/2 kilo either way and eat and drink what I please. Not too bad for 57. My doctor reckons I have rapid metabolism. I dont do much excercise either and whilst not fit, reckon I have stamina. To equate that I could not jog a kilometre, but can walk briskly 10 kilometres without stopping.

I did lose weight quickly ONCE

Doctor told me to go on a fruit and veg diet to cleanse my body and lose 3kgs as well
His instructions were
eat fruit for 3 days
skip a day
eat vegetales for 3 days

I came back after a week and lost a staggering 18 kilos
The doc asked

" MAL WHAT HAPPENED. YOUR TOO SKINNY NOW ??????"

" doc it was the 4th day and im stuffed after you told me to 'skip' a day...."
