get into em magpie..... I could have been less ... I had to borrow $10 of my mate last nifght to get HJs 3 whoppers iz ate.... i got pissed and didnt care..... the piss has f$#$#ed up my life.....

I will be 99.9 kilos on 24/12/06 [or less]
I will be 99.9 % sure to be more than that after xmas day.

Im gunna exercise like hell the next 2 days.
By 24/12 im gunna be FATigued.

NOSTRAmalDAMUS predicted that FIGMAL would be below 100kg by xmas eve.
In the process I have become as fit as a MALlee bull.
Losing the weight was a mere forMALity.

Weigh in a touch early this week.. sorry - but last day at work tomorrow, so will be big day!!
91kg on the scales tonight.. not a good week - but it's been catching up and drinking with mates before I go to Melbourne next week , so can be forgiven..

Greetings. As someone who has an opinion on everything, lurking is not in my nature. However I am also having my own battle of the bulge. At only 176cm there was no way that I should have been the 103kg I was back in August. On a recent visit to Adelaide people were commenting on my, er, well rounded physique and I noticed that I was the chubbiest dude at every show I went to. It was time to act.

I read this thread and share your struggles and now my new sport (now that my cricket days are over) is the battle against myself to shed the spare tyre that has bedevilled me.

My fitness regimen Started in mid November, my guts was 114cm accross and I weighed 102 Kilos. I started off by cutting back my sugar intake and increasing the amount of fibre I eat (due to a related illness as well) and I started running laps of the local velodrome four times a week. I run on the velodrome becuase it is flat and most of Ipswich doesn't have footpaths and my shonky knees can't risk running on an uneven surface. The velodrome is cracked as so I usually share it with 'masters games' type riders rather than the more serious bikers who might not appreciate a fat middle aged **** shuffling around their track LOL.

I started off with two laps a day (eight laps a week) and each lap is roughly 300m. Every five runs I increase my distance by 75m or a quarter of a lap. Yesterday I had my second three lap run which would give me a weekly total of 12 laps or 3.6 km. I don't run fast and I try not to miss any runs. After my run, I walk home and my daily walk home is 3km. It isn't all that much I know but the increased water intake, improved diet and regular exercise has my weight at my last weigh in at 99.8 (December 1) and I have taken three cm of my guts. My weight loss has been about half a kilo a week, the exercise is not too intensive so the 'REB program' is sustainable. I hope to get down to about 80 Kilos and 100cm. It would also help if I was to grow taller by a couple of centimetres :wink:

Cripes well done. Just read some of your efforts, congratulations. I only weigh in Monthly as weekly weigh ins aren't that valuable and remember you are only really competing against yourself.

I did it 99-2 kilomals
I completed my challenge
BUT I cheated
I starved yesterday
I am aching all over from the malssive exercise regime in the past week
BUT I did it.

109-00 start
099-20 finish
009-80 kilomal loss

I can now enjoy the next week and will settle for a weight gain to about 102 kilomals

My next plan is to be 99-9 by Australia day

MY CHALLENGE IS TO LOSE 12 KILOMALS BY 24/12/07 AND ''WAIT'' FOR IT....

Just think if you can lose another 10 kilomals, we could

Im going on my seafood diet until 01/01/07
