My dog is getting done as we speak.
Does that mean "ive done my bit to get dogs supporters base stronger"?

I think the surgeon I saw today has been reading 'The Guide for Communicating Vasectomy To Dummies'.

"The vas deferens is like a train track, shuttling semen, and the best way to cut the track is by removing part of its length, like in the westerns."

"Afterwards you still have some semen stored in the semen vesicles, like a car park."

Thanks, Dr Nick. I'm not 12.

And then he fondled my balls.

that awkward moment when your doctor is examining your balls and you run your fingers through his hair.....

I got lucky (sort of) that the missus needed a hysterectomy so no snip required for me

Bump...

So we've just had #2, got the pigeon pair and Mrs NG is done.

What's the go to wo with this?

GP appointment, referral, waiting list? (Expected wait time?) cost etc?

We aren't private so leave that out.

Stories are interesting but not enough to stop me (until the day approaches)

Cheers

Some day surgery clinics do the work NG, so not a hospital visit in all cases.

Go see your GP.

i have a referral sitting at home to go get this done now. i am not joining a waiting list, ill go get it organised privately, however supposedly it isnt normally covered by your insurance anyway?? ill be using my tax cheque to pay for it, get it over and done with before i change my mind.

done on a thursday and back to work monday supposedly. ill have to see if it ends up like that or some of the horror stories hat have been documented here. couple of months away yet though. time for a party to give them a good send off anyway ;)

just be aware, sometimes they are hesitant to do it too soon after a baby. our youngest is nearly ten months now and the gp didnt want to give me the referral yet. talked him into it when i started listing all the problems my missus had during pregnancy and the birth so no matter what we arent going again.
