In a couple of races here and there maybe, but by the end of the season I expect Perez to be about 80 points behind Button and many more behind Vettel

he makes a lot of silly mistakes though, once he gets some consistency I think he will be a potential champion. He reminds me of Hakkinen in his Lotus days, very quick but throws it into the scenery too often

I think that had more to do with having to push the car to be competitive. Pure racer.

yeah that's true, I hope he beats Button, who is the only driver to have driven for the team I support that I don't like!

Great Britain

Then why would the Goodwood Festival of Speed post this just before Christmas?
Revised 2013 Goodwood Festival of Speed Dates
Following the recent unexpected change to the 2013 Formula 1 calendar, it has been necessary to change the published dates of the Goodwood Festival of Speed to avoid a clash with the revised German Grand Prix – and to ensure that the Festival can continue to host current F1 teams and drivers in 2013.
Current Formula 1 content has played an integral part in the Festival over the last twenty years, and will continue to do so in 2013 as part of Goodwood’s 20th anniversary Festival celebrations.
Subject to any further amendments to the Grand Prix calendar, the 2013 Festival of Speed will now take place on 12-14 July, with the Moving Motor Show being held on Thursday 11 July.
All 2013 Festival of Speed tickets already purchased will remain valid for the new dates. However, any queries can be dealt with by contacting the Goodwood Ticket Office on +44(0)1243 755055, or email
ticket.office@goodwood.com.

Button is just as inconsistent as Perez.
The best four drivers on the grid will still be Alonso, Hamilton, Raikkonen and Vettel (in that order).
I'd love to see Vettel move away from Red Bull. Success with another team would change many people's view on him (mine included).

i'll put some pics up soon, but the Mercedes have an interesting front wing set up, the wind is out in front of the nose cone, can see them losing it a few times this season!
