Yep you are....
He's a star!
Quite simply they just couldnt get a handle on the car over a long haul.
Drove brilliantly to get pole.
Has driven this curcuit in a slow car and still won!
He'll keep his drive for next year no worries. ;)

Yep, like SG said, well said Tiger. Yep, he drove brilliantly to get POLE. Yep, very good driving to get POLE. Could not have done better

think you might wanna check your statistics, he has never won at Sonoma. He had a chance last season, but again, stuffed it up with 7 laps to go not following NASCAR rules and keeping pace with the pace car under caution.

My mistake bully, Watkins Glenn he won, but it was 2010 where the team told him to shut down the motor to save fuel and it wouldnt re-start.

now thats a track he does get the job done. He owns that place

All experts talk about pace on the long and short run, yes Marcos had short run pace, but the team missed the mark terribly to long run pace. The fact Marcos tyres dropped off 10 laps into a run, where other cars would last 15-20 laps before the same drop off.
The other guy with the quickest car out there, only finished 6th and was beaten by 3 guys in the same equipment.

Please explain to me, where i said anything about being an expert in NASCAR, and where i have ever said i know everything about the sport?
Before you say, "your comments are poor" i am mearly expressing my views in most of the cases with him, and i am quite allowed to on a public forum. I have never said, you cant say Jeff Gordon is woeful have i??

I thought when you told me I didn't know much about NASCAR that you must be an expert ;)

Interesting enough race yesterday. A heap would be hoping that the top 10 remains pretty unchanged so the wildcard positions are more easily obtained. Should come right down to Richmond to decide who can sneak into the chase.
Massive chance for the wildcard hopes this week back at Daytona. Anything could happen.

Definitely alot of luck there for him to get the break thru with the craziness of the restart prior to the rain, however he's back in the hunt for the wildcard. Got to be in the right place at the right time tho.

Onto the Glen this week, fingers crossed for another Marcos win!

not the first time he has won like this,

been a few races where its been done like this for a few drivers, considering NASCAR doesnt drive in the wet.

once it gets to half way, its considered a proper race if it doesnt finish the normal scheduled laps due to rain. Always rains at pocono

Absolute mayhem on the final lap...oil from the no.18 car everywhere. Ambrose and Keslowski slid off twice, with Ambrose just getting to the line first....Brilliant drive!!

Wow, that oil threw up an amazing last lap and a half. Possibly the caution should have beenthrown, but was the same for all drivers. Super result for Marcos and lets hope he can jag another win in the next three weeks and steal a wildcard spot!
V8sc supporters may of found it comical as cars actually passed each other!
