its worse in the chase, everyone gave edwards and stewart plenty of room last season in the chase, even my Idol Gordon said with three races to go, its time we got up there and put some pressure on stewart and edwards..

When I say I blame the chase, I mean it seems if they can't win, then they are just trying to score decent points. Lots of money qualifying for the chase.

I can see what you mean TSG...

We'll see over the next two weeks what the real state of play is with two tough tracks coming up in Dega & Darlington.

darlington is the hardest track to drive around, the dimensions of it have the drivers having to drive at the wall going into one of the corners before turning.

He didn't have a drafting partner in the final two laps. Without thus he lacked the pace of the two car tandoms. May have been different if he had lucked out and had bayne behind him at the restart.

He couldn't find a partner the entire race. The sooner they stop the bump draft all together the better.

why?? just because ambrose cant find a partner?? This is the reason for all the modifications from last years race, when it was all tandom racing, the fans over there voted for Nascar to prevent it to create more pack racing

so why should it be stopped?

It certainly very random & I can’t help but think there are some serious safety issues involved. I know there is dangers in every type of racing, but the speed & unpredictability of the restrictor plate circuits just increases it. Just looking at the Nationwide race showed this…
It’ certainly creates racing that appeals to the more redneck, carnage loving fan. Sadly I didn’t win lotto last night & don’t have mega $$$ to take you guys over there to ‘tailgate’ in the midfield.
On the randomness of the racing, I’d take the Dega stop out of the chase.
Anyway, on to darlington! :D

random beats just going round and around (like the V8s) not being able to pass.

With superspeed ways restrictor plates anybody can win. adds to the hype of racings. Thats why i love NASCAR for the past 20 years, its very random, anybody on the day can win, and you can actually pass. And all the other tracks are good for this even more so. I love My Martinsville track, my fav on the NASCAR course, love it.

Darlington is the next race, but its been voted the hardest track by 95% of NASCAR drivers past and present to work out. One corner on the track you have to drive at the wall so to speak to turn the corner. Yes you do this in all racing but this is different.

Thats what all the V8 fans say - oh its just round and round in circles, but all racing is round and round, but in NASCAR at least you can pass someone.

The randomness / luck comes from being in the right place at the right time with 2 laps to go.
