Should be an interesting season.
Lots going on Bully.
I don't think Stewart will have as good of a season as last year.
Will be interesting to see how Jimmy goes without defending his title (might release some pressure from him & Chad Knaus).
Will Carl ever not be the bridesmaid??? Has a real risk of becoming the next Mark Martin.
Hoping that Marcus will break thru for a first win on an oval. He's had some solid top 5's last season & I think it's his time. Who knows, with some more consistancy from him & the team, maybe a chase birth could be on the cards.
How will Kayne go in top quality gear?
Will Jaun Pablo top 150kg this season???

dont know on stewart, he is rubbish during the opening few races, then is good in the middle
I dont think jimmie will win another championship whilst he is with hendrick, they have had there time and IMO just think he is not there as much
My idol Jeff Gordon wont win it this season either, but will feature in the chase and add more frustration to my life!!
Jaun pablo is just a loser anyway
Kasey Kayne might win a few yes

My prediction is Kyle Busch for champ this season. Cant stand the man, but he prime for it

Bully i'll think you'll find the pole will be taken by Edwards due to qualifying yesterday. The Bud shootout is just a money race leading into the season. The front row is sorted by qualifying with 3-4 non top 35 points cars being guaranteed a spot. The rest of the grid is sorted out by the two Gatorade duels on thursday.

Watching the race on sunday & it seems that the 'pack race' is back on the Superspeedways. Was a very interesting race, even tho the wrecks broke it up quite a bit.

It'll be interesting to see how much bump drafting is done thru the corners on sunday & how many "Big one's" there will be.

I thought Marcus was a huge chance until Stewart & Busch got together, still 3rd is an impressive start to his season (he was blessed to not be taken out at some stages tho)

All good Bully! Plus anybody that dislikes Montoya is ok in my book!

I wonder how the shot out will affect Sundays race, got the feeling a heap will be cruising around at the back of the field away from the main group avoiding the big one until 20-30 to go...

A Nascar thread.......sweet.

The shootout was fantastic. How Kurt Busch kept his car on the track was amazing in itself, but to push Tony Stewart to the line and pinch the win was unbelievable. Did think Marcus went a little early, but he did a good job to miss all the trouble. You really have to get on the low line at Daytona.

Can't wait for the season proper.

The freakiest crash ive ever seen when that peanut Montoya smashed into one of the driers which exploded in a massive fireball. Surely he was going too fast with a car that had transmission problems. Could have been a whole lot worse. Ambrose unlucky to be caught up in a bingle when having a solid race.
