Heading to Robe Friday morning for 3 nights with the girlfriend. Just wondering what people's opinions of the place are and what there is to do.

Good spot. Caledonian pub nice open fire. Head to wineries ESP cape Jaffa and even further to coonawarra. Some nice cafes but pretty sleepy through winter. Golf course meant to be ok too

Cheers mate. She was keen on the wineries but quickly put aside the thought of letting me have a hit of golf!

Rymill winery is a lovely setting btw and some nice cab savs too

Cape Jaffa is going to be huge when they're finished building there and sell the blocks of land. Robe was a very nice town and thoroughly enjoyed my time there. Beachport was very nice aswell and had some awesome views. Lots of nice Cafe's around and wouldn't hesitate to go back. Kingston nice aswell
