SKOPJE
Visited there with my girlfriend
It was a hot day and we stopped for lunch
I ordered a mixed grill and a beer
Tucker was good and had another beer during the meal
And another Beer when finishing off
I stood up and seeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeyou, was in hazyfantasy land
I staggered throughout the day
Later that evening I looked at the Beer label
11% alcohol content
No wonder ...
Take care if drinking there

If you go to Croatia then make sure you go to Plitvice Lakes National Park.

Absolutely stunning but go early in the morning if you go in the summer peak season.

just got back from a cruise around the Meditteranean and we visited a few places in Greece
only had a day in each but got a good insight
- Athens, yeh, dirty and busy, saw all the ruins etc, and managed to have lunch in a nice restuarant in town, fab food
- Corfu, nice little place to walk around, an old fort and nice small streets with heaps of shops
- Kakatalon, a little town near the site of Olympia which we went to, a nice quiet little town with some great cafes on the waterfront, all with free wifi
- Santorini, absolutely beautiful place, because we came in by ship we had the option of getting the donkeys up the path or the cable car, took the cable car and the missus was crapping herself  , she hates heights, some stunning views from above the cliffs in Fira
- Dubrovnik, great place, mainly visited the old town and we found a tiny little wine bar, tasted some local wines and the barkeep had some Powderfinger playing, apparently the wine bar is part owned by a fella from Brisbane

spend pretty much half of september in greece, athens is a cool place, busy and dirty but cheap as and some good sites!

mykonos, we stayed in platis gialos, best beach ever, awesome food on the water too, loved it, easily my favourite place in europe so far, lazed around for 8 days with not a worry in the world.

santorini, beautiful, probably the most picturesque places ive ever been, oia is amazing, ps who ever posted the photos of the sunset there, i could swear you sat in the same place as i did

Here's an idea that I saw on tv last night of something to see for anyone who finds themselves in that region over an Easter weekend.

Personally I hate them but goes without saying that you do kinda need to like fireworks  still an amazing and completely bonkers event though...
