Boomers vs Tall Blacks

Postby brod » Tue Aug 21, 2007 3:19 pm

Good to see the Boomers, even not being at full strength put in a good performance and beat the kiwis 79-67 in the first game of the series to qualify for the Bejing Olympics. David Anderson shows why he his so important to the side every time he plays, scored 20 points, and stopped the kiwi big men (a bit of an oxymoron i know) from having any influence. Game 2 of the three game series Wed night

It's easy as pie. Along with Rugby Union, we are force fed it so how she forgot the words is beyond me. Nerves I think, felt awful for her.

An even bigger "pasting" tonight 93 -67. 2-zip and China here we come.

I just hope that in the Olympics we don't have to put up with Phil Lynch or Shane Heal as commentators. Phil's time was in the 80's and Shane Heal is a full of himself d*ckhead! Interesting to note that even though this series is shown thru Fox Sports - they have used NZ TV for the coverage (Maori TV I believe).

I'm suprised on home soil Fox Sports didn't roll out their Sydney Kings obsessed Commentary Team of John Casey and Steve Carfino but that might have been way over the top seeing as the Boomers are coached by the Kings Head Coach and the Roster is made up of just about half the Kings Roster plus anyone who has played even a minute for them at anytime in their careers!
