Seattle v Pittsburgh

Go the Seahawks!

Pittsburgh have done it done it tough, only got through the wildcard playoff because the Bengals losing their start QB and WR in the 2nd play of the day but good luck to them, the 2 games since then have been toughies and all on the road.
I've always had a softsport for the Seahawks and would love to see them win it.

Bugger, just realised the Superbowl is on when I'm in Darwin, still could be a good excuse to start drinking at 9am on our last day there! :D

Put a tape in Wedgie, that's what we're doing. Ah the days when SuperBowl used to be on a public holiday... :(

LOL .. Surely that piece wasn't written by a Bengals fan Wedgie!

I have to go for Pittsburgh because I've got them at 11/1 to take the title, but she looks a tough prospect to get over the Seahawks ... That said they've played away every week and have accounted for the Colts and Bronco's in that time, so who knows....

Oh definately but you've got to admit that Carson Palmer is a pretty important reason as to why the Bengals made the playoffs this season and when he and the WR go down on the second play of the day AND on top of that the Bengals still manage to open up 2 10 pt margins you've got to admit its a definate case of "what if....?"
Having said that I think we would have won that game, I don't think we would have gone close to getting through the 2 games since like the Steelers have managed, certainly an incredible effort by the bottom seeded team in the AFC.

Only stirring bud, I actually backed the Pirates in that game and still feel they would have been a chance of some sort, but were no doubt underdogs and imho would have struggled without the Bengal losses ...

Steelers now 14 - 3. Yeah fairly low scoring, unlike the 33-0 that the Razorbacks thumped the Spartans by on Sat night at the Pines

21 - 10 win to Pittsburgh steelers. Some silly errors by the ref.

No wonder the NFL rotate the superbowl venue. If that game had been in Seatle the ref's would have left in caskets. No way Pittsburgs first touchdown should have been allowed. Fantastic Goalline save let down by poor decision first by goalline ref, then by video review ref. Seatle should have led 7-0 as well. I've seen bigger pushes in schoolyards than the "push off" that was flagged. If that is pass interfearence in the modern game then i think i might start watching lawn bowls or basket weaving. All in all Seatle probably not good enough but still robbed.
