A quick attempt from me:

1. the Dash for Cash with the Darryl Eastlake commentary
2. the cheese chase in the UK where they roll the cheese down the hill and the first one to get to it wins
3. The carry your wife first to the finish line and win her weight in beer event, held somehwere in Scandinavia
4. Running of the Bull in Pamplona, Spain
5. The game of Real tennis. It's different!

From a local perspective I could also add the Tuna Toss in Pt Lincoln or the Compass Cup.

Pretty sure DW started a thread somewhere on the Carry your wife contest. Think finland may be the location as they had the most entrants. australia had 1 entrant IIRC.
Maybe DW could update you on this.

Noticed a lot of the pairs had different surnames (???? carry your wife ???)
Also on pair was listed as him <Forename Surname> her "Wife", obviously not important enough to be listed by any name at all

I think I saw a cow pat throwing comp somewhere once too.
