the adelaide black falcons are playing a perth team which consists of 4 wallabies with the rest being signed with the western force (super 14's).

the game kicks off at 7pm at the brighton rugby union ground on brighton road

there is full bar & bbq facilities & 'my spy' tells me there should be meals upstairs as well

THIS IS A FREE ADMISSION GAME

i think it'll be worth the night out to see some of australia's best playing even though it will be a massacre, i hope to see you there

Me and Mr MK were whinging that we never get to see the Falcons play as it's always the same time as footy.

We're in, thanks bayman.

Sandgropers 94
Black Falcons 5
WA had a strong contingent of Super 14's players on the paddock
& they run roughshod over our local boys!
Still they put up a good fight going against such overwhelming odds.

When did SA score, I got there about half way through 1st. THe WA bogs looked twice/3x the size of SA.

troy, perth spirit had 28 on the board before the falcons scored a try but missed the conversion the score was 54 to 5 at half time & st has already put the final score up.

they are having a 2nd tier comp (below super 14's) nationally so they can try & unearth players over australia rather than just nsw & qld, from what i understand there will be a team in perth, perth spirit, in adelaide the falcons, in canberra the vikings a team in melb 3 teams in nsw & i think 2 teams in qld, the rugby people i know are amazed that the east are sending 'money past the blue mountains' as they've been trying to get money for years with no success

Easy win as suspected. Thought it was a pretty good crowd too.

The Mazda league starts on the 10th, no SA team. We have a bit of work to do. Hope it gets televised.
