Does anyone else follow her in the WNBA? I love the way she sticks it up the americans byt being the best player in THEIR league playing THEIR game. Will set records that will be hard to break unless injury cuts her down. Looking good for the MVP if the pro american bias doesn't steal it from her like 2 seasons ago. Plus she's stunning and did a nude photo shoot a few years back! What more could you want?

And no sooner do we mention her, but she pours in a record equaling 47 points. She even missed most of her shots near the end because her arm was getting sore!

Would hate to be the person working on her groin that she injured against Sacramento ?!?!?!?
Still is the MVP - even the Yanks are saying so (WNBA.com Race to the MVP)

In fact they're now saying it's not even a contest!

Her groin is probably about as far as I could reach!

Unfortunately, she's pretty ordinary off the court.

Extraordinary on the court but...

Shes breaking records everywhere she goes
- Jackson scored 9 30+ points games (WNBA season record)
- Jackson now has 17 30+ poin games (WNBA alltime record)
- Jackson went 15-16 from the FT line (Storm alltime records)
All this as she won player of the week honours (5th time this season, 12th time career)
Now kicks off the playoff vs Phoenix and Diana Taurasi (never liked her, and it will be All-American Taurasi vs Aussie Jackson- at least the Phoenix Mercury have Penny Taylor in their side, potential All-WNBA player this season)

LAUREN Jackson overnight reinforced her place as the top female basketballer in the world by claiming her second WNBA Most Valuable Player trophy.

It is the second time Seattle Storm-based Jackson, 26, has won the top individual honour, previously claiming it in 2003.

"I'm honoured and flattered and it has been an unbelievable year for me personally," the 195cm superstar said. "I'm very excited."

Jackson, who led the WNBA in scoring and rebounding with 23.8 points and 9.7 boards per game, received 473 points, including 42 first-place votes, to be a runaway winner from San Antonio Silver Stars guard Becky Hammon on 254 points.

Opals star Penny Taylor (Phoenix Mercury), MVP of the women's world championship last year alongside Jackson as Australia claimed the gold, finished sixth.

All this at an age when she should be playing her 3rd season or something. If she got a decent coach or any sort of backup imagine what the Storm could do!
