This Sunday sees Channel 7 yet again subject Adelaide race fans to no coverage of the action until 10:30 pm Sunday night because of the AFL. They are showing the St Kilda- Kangaroos game at 1:30 and then the Crows-Geelong game @ 4:30. At least Monday sees coverage of race 2 & 3 on between 1:30-5:00.

Why can't bloody channel 7 show the v8s live and the crows at say 4.30pm then saints Kanaroos after the crows

Because they paid a hell of a lot more for the rights to the footy than the V8's and like it or not they will get better ratings with the footy than the V8's. I can understand the frustration of the V8 fans though. If they didn't intend showing the races live they shouldn't have bid for the rights. This or a deal where if they don't show it live another station has the option of screening it.

The other thing that gives me and heaps of other the sh*ts is when Foxtel and free to air show the same AFL game at the same time and one game doesn't get shown as a result. Foxtel have paid the free to air stations for the rights to show that particular game so the free to air channel should show a different game.

You cant blane C7 for this one. The problem is C10 not allowing them to show it here.

C10 is pissed off that C7 has the V8's all i wish for is that footy would go back to the way it was C9 and C10 showing the games with C7 doing whatever they damn well pleased.
