Awesome weekend - 280,000 people would have had a good wekend. To those who didn't go - badluck.

The kelly boys were awesome. The new VE should go from strength to strength with time as the drivers bed down their setups.

Don't know what Tander was thinking when he pulled out of the pits and nearly cleaned up Todd Kelly. I guess someone on his crew is to blame for that one. Should have been watching what was coming. Without that drive-through, it would have been a Holden 1-2-3.

Lowndes was very disappointing. His car looked awesome though (for a Ford).

Paul Dumbrell is a dead set c*ck smoker. Shunting Jack Perkins into the fence and finishing his race was a freaking disgrace. He doesn't race for Perkins Motorsport any more, but he's still causing the team problems. A drive-through for that was soft. He should be banned for life after all the shit he's pulled throughout his career!

The only criticism I have was Channel 7's covereage. They were bloody aweful. Bugger all replays of incidents. Showed an updated leader board about every 30 laps. During qualifying showed the fastest driver, but didn't show his times. Slow to pick up footage after an incident (Perkins crach yesterday not shown until 2 laps had passed). SERIOUSLY, if you can't do it right, give it back to channel 10 who were excellent in their motorsport covereage.

On the Concerts, Thursday was AWESOME. Thirsty Merc were brilliant, as were Evermore.

Friday was reasonable. Spiderbait were good, but I expected more from Eskimoe Joe. You Am I are the WORST band in the history of music. They played a shit set and the crowd was not impreseed, then their singer told the crowd they were'nt any good and wondered why they got peppered with bottles. What a furken smoker. Tim whatever your bloody name is (who cares anyway) you are a wanker!

It was Tander's car controller who let him go. He makes the call on when to leave or hold. You're also as bad as race control who gave Dumbrell a drive-thru before finding out the facts. Dumbrell ran into Perkins because Perkins' engine cut out mid-corner and left Dumbrell with nowhere to go. I will agree with Sevens coverage though. Way too many ads and not enough data. I was nearly to the point of logging onto v8supercar.com.au and just watching it there. At least I would've gotten up to data with live timing.
