Super 14's Round 5
Waratahs versus Western Force 'All Aussie Derby' @ SFS 16-16 Draw in an unentertaining debacle!
(Don't look good for Wallabies selectors or our World Cup hopes eh!)
The Tahs taking the foot off the pedal, leading to the Perth team's
resurgence in the second half with Matt Giteau's try...
Subsequently, a pissed off Lote Tuqiri on the verge of spitting the chewy!
Walking off post match not even acknowledging, plus showing obvious
frustration & disgust with his team-mates lacklustre performance!
Odds on he's seriously considering a return to League next season!

I meant NRL season 2008!
As for the Rugby 7's... a lot of the International stars from both sides
of the Tasman would be doubtful of competing with the RWC looming!

Lote not happy with Sam Norton-Knight for choosing not to take a penalty. I would've cracked the shits too but probably not then and there...

Tuqiri stays in union

March 12, 2007 05:00pm
Article from: AAP

Wallaby star Lote Tuqiri has re-signed with the Australian Rugby Union and NSW for five years, a Waratahs spokesperson said today.

Tuqiri had been the subject of a tug-of-war for his services between rugby union and rugby league, with the South Sydney NRL club tabling a substantial offer for the winger's services.

But Tuqiri confirmed his commitment to the Waratahs and the Wallabies shortly before the 5pm (AEDT) deadline set by the ARU today.

''The signing is great news for rugby and we're relieved to have it out of the way so Lote and the team can concentrate on the Stormers this weekend,'' NSW Rugby Union chief executive Fraser Neill said today.

A NSWRU statement said Tuqiri would make an official comment about his re-signing tomorrow.

2007 is Brumbies Captain George Gregan's swansong year!...
Let's hope history repeats itself & he pulls off yet another match winning tackle
against them Kiwi Sheepherders! (Notice my politically correct jab at the All Blacks?)

You know the one MK ...The one that made the Zambian born Rugby legend a household name?

...In all honesty, Aussie Rugby's gotta pull it's collective finger out kinda sharpish!

Yes I can still see it ST, Jeff Wilson was going to score that try.

As they say in the Kiwi classics, put a bit 'a wool around it.
