Has the comp undergone an overhall recently? Looked at the comps website just before Christmas and it looked like the names of the teams and the like had changed.

I've often heard the league get compared to higher level high school standard and we run on NCAA rules. We play out of the Pines Hockey Stadium on saturday nights at 5pm and8pm. It's a great facility and every thing is taken care of re: field markings and the like. We even play on astroturf! As for gear most clubs have stuff that you can use for the season but most guy shave their own and there are guys you can by stuff from and get stuff shipped over from the states. Fitness wise it depends on what club your at but at mine its fairly high. There isnt as many expats at the moment but that sort of thing ebs and flows. Phil commentates the games so to inform the crowd on how the game works and add an extra element to the atmosphere.

At the moment its only a link to other teams while it gets revamped.

When did the clubs drop their suburban names in favour of the more generic 'Adelaide' moniker?

The clubs haven't changed their names and I dont know why they have all the teams have Adelaide as their name.
The Razorbacks have qualified for the gf on march 3 as the team that finishes top automatically goes through and they cannot be caught. Very interesting to see who will make th 2 other final spots.

What the team called that trains at Marion Sporting club? I have watched them a few times training while enjoying a frothy but I still can't understand the rules with my vast experience at watching remember the titans and any given sunday!!
