The supposed fight of the century Floyd Mayweather vs Manny Pacquaio is on this Sunday. The first fight on the card starts at 11am Adelaide time with the big one tentatively listed for 12:30pm our time dependent on earlier results.

Predictions?

I think Mayweather in 8.

Would love to see Mayweather on his backside, but I can't see Pacman getting up unfortunately.

Was looking at it but costs $59.
Have found that one of my local pubs is putting it on big screen and has $5 spirits during the fight so am heading there. Only 5min up the road

Went to the Willaston Hotel for lunch and to watch the fight but they were turning people away so went to the Golden Fleece in Gawler they said they weren't showing it and neither were any hotels in Gawler due to the cost of it just the Willaston were showing it so missed the fight.

I read that Mayweather won comfortably so glad I missed it was hoping Pacquiao would knock him out.

Was packed at the Willaston before 11, glad I went early

People who haven't watched a lot of boxing would've thought Pacquaio won as he threw bigger shots, but none of them landed and did any damage. As much I hate what he stands for, Mayweather is an extroadinarily good defensive fighter and deserved to win. Avoided what Pacquiao was giving him and managaed to get his shots in when he could. Such a dickhead, but really is one of the best of all time.

JEFF HORN WINS BY UNANIMOUS DECISION!!!!
The judges went 117-111, 115-113 and 115-113, and Horn takes the WBO welterweight title from Pacquiao!

Another dodgy decision in boxing. The sport is a joke.

Did you watch it?
I haven't seen it yet but sounded like it was a pretty close affair. Amazing how different experts see it as I've now heard about 10 different people give 10 different scores for it.

Check out the stats for punches that connected. 182-92
The bloke with 92 won.

Yeah that's why I asked if you had seen it. I can't comment until I see it but I've now heard that many different variations I'm unsure who to believe. ESPN were quite scathing in their comments but a few other experts have the judges almost spot on. Was unanimous so the judges all thought similar whether that be right or wrong

Come on proper boxing judges awarded the fight 3-0. Not one person gave the fight to Pacquiao. All three professional boxing judges got it wrong?

Watched it last night and only personal opinion but thought the judges were pretty spot on

Punch stats are very misleading.
From what I've seen it was very close. Horn was the aggressor mostly every round.
Lots of elbows from both, which the ref never pick up on.
