Saturday December 10th - Preliminary Final
6pm - South City Chiefs v Eastside Razorbacks
Saturday December 17th - Grand Final
5.30pm - Pre Game entertainment
6pm - Adelaide Eagles v Prelim Winner

the atmosphere and veiwing pleasure at thebby had nothing on what it used to be like at the pines.
i'd happily travel the extra few k's to head out to the pines. anyone know why they dont play there anymore?

They got kicked out by the Govt. Something to do with more Hockey and the new school!

Yes both are possible and have occurred it is just that not many Teams have a kicker good enough.

yeah i noticed that in the second game, just in the first game there were no field goals or extra points attempted. You'd think it would be one of the more basic skills of the game for an Aussie to pick up, most of us have been kicking balls around all our lives!

For years there has only been one reliable kicker in all the teams. That was a Chiefs player who actually wasn’t the one on Saturday night who had a couple of shots. It doesn’t seem to be a skill that the teams seem to practice. But I did like a couple of the two point plays in the second game although I am biased.

Assume the Chiefs won the second game? They seemed that much better resourced/professional than the other teams there on Saturday night

Yes the Chiefs 30 odd to Razorbacks 7.
Funny you should say “professional” as they did not play their No 1 QB and gun RB in the first quarter, we suspect for discipline/not attending trainings reasons. They were 7 nil down due to this. Also they were down to a third string line for both Offence and Defence.
The Razorbacks have been very professional in the past but seem to have slipped in recent years.
