Has anybody ever heard of any form of organised dodgeball competition? The extent of my knowledge is of a sketch from that '80s program "Webster" where his adopted dad is all disappointed because the only sports coaching position vacant at Webster's school is for dodgeball, and of course the Ben Stiller movie released last year.
It seems to me that it is a game that just isn't given any respect beyond the bounds of P.E lessons at school. I just want to know, what we are taking the piss out of? What manner of people play it? Are there any famous controversies surrounding this vastly under reported, global sport? Should dodgeball become an Olympic Sport?
