http://www.adelaiderollerderby.com/Has anyone ever been to the Adelaide Roller Derby? It seems to draw quite a few spectators and I've seen the odd media piece about it. Would be interested in any tales that there may be to be told

You should have shown her your collection of tokens...or told her about the shooting gallery, where you could shoot the pianist in the...ahem, to make him play*....I wouldn't like to think how many hours I spent there playing Hyper Olympic.

I have been to a couple of bouts and it is a hoot!
The girls really ham it up whilst trying hard to win - and the crowd, referees and announcers add to the spectacle.
And you can drink beer whilst you watch!

LOL - friends of mine had their wedding photos taken there. I don't think the "Roller Coaster" was working at the time though.

I turned over to watch it (I think I've seen it before though) and missed it but did manage to watch the show after about the big Serbian dude who wanted to run a marathon.
Kind of funny.

Went today to see match live, had a sensational time.Atmosphere is great and just a good laugh,my friends and i are going sept.26th where there is a double header just remember to get there early and bring your own chair. Also had a band and american bloke that host the event is either Colonel Tom Parker or Colonel Sanders.Sensational raffle prize winner gets to arm wrestle any skater they choose at end of day with money donated to cancer research.
