England is poised to pull out of the 2010 Commonwealth Games in Delhi due to fears of terrorist attacks on their athletes, according to London's Daily Telegraph.

The newspaper reports that British police and security advisers are concerned the English team could be targeted by Pakistani terrorists at the October 3-14 Games and feel that athletes' safety cannot be guaranteed at present.

not unusual for a visiting country, countries to be worried about attacks on their players etc when visiting this country.

AUSTRALIA will be competing in next year's Commonwealth Games in Delhi whether or not England is there, our nation's games chief said today.

Australian Games chief Perry Crosswhite said the Games would go ahead in October anyway, whether or not England was there and Australia would be part of it.

yeah well we already win heaps so, can get a little boring when there is no decent opposition in the games, like the olympics there is some decent countrys i.e. USA, China, Russia germany etc that makes the games interesting
