I'm heading around to a mates place tonight to get on the gas and watch this fight. Personally, I think Roy Jones Jnr will pump Green, but I was wondering who everyone else thinks will get up. I remember seeing Roy Jones Jnr in his prime and he was a machine. He may be getting a bit long in the tooth, but I think he will be too much for the Green Machine.

If Green couldn't beat Mundine, I can't see him getting much of a look in here. It's all about the $$$

Jones may be long in the tooth ( 40 IIRC ) but Green is 36, not much of an age difference.
There is however a fair gap in ability, although Jones Jnr has been dropped twice in his past 5 fights early on by big hitters. Greens only chance is to bop him early with a good one, if not Jones will dance around him and slap him all night.

I was walking around Darling Harbour on Friday night and Danny Green was out for a stroll as well. I was genuinely surprised at how small he was. For some reason I thought that he would look way more buff than he actually appeared. He did have a long sleeve skins compression top on though.
Just an observation.

Not sure mate. Undercards start at 6pm. I'd say around 8.30'ish.

My thoughts exactly if Green has any chance it will be knocking him out and early if RJJ is still there come round 5 I think Green will get hammered.

Unfortunately, it won't happen. Mundine is down to fight in 69.5kg's next, so no way will they ever fight again with their differing weights. I'm spewing.

The bookies got their markets horribly wrong on that fight. Not that I'm complaining though.
I took $3.10 being offered on Green to win and couldn't believe how much he was over the odds fighting a bloke well past his peak who had never fought out of his home country before.

I read that RJJ got paid $10 million for that fight tonight. That will help nurse the ego. Well done Danny Green!
