The schedule for Week 1 of the NRL Telstra Premiership Finals is as follows:

1st Qualifying Final: Friday, September 11, 7.45pm, at Etihad Stadium, Melbourne
NRL: (4) Melbourne Storm 40 Defeat (5) Manly Sea Eagles 12

2nd Qualifying Final: Saturday, September 12, 6.30pm, at Skilled Park, Gold Coast
NRL: (3) Gold Coast Titans 32 Lose to (6) Brisbane Broncos 40

3rd Qualifying Final: Saturday, September 12, 8.30pm, at ANZ Stadium, Sydney
NRL: (2) Canterbury Bulldogs 26 Defeat (7) Newcastle Knights 12

4th Qualifying Final: Sunday, September 13, 4pm, at WIN Jubilee Oval, Sydney
NRL: (1) St George Illawarra Dragons 12 Lost to (8) Parramatta Eels 25

Lowest 2 ranked losers eliminated 1st week

Storm v Sea Eagles
Probably the match of week one. Maybe even the whole finals series. Storm just.

Titans v Broncos
GC look wobbly. Resurgent Broncos to cause a minor upset.

Bulldogs v Knights
Dogs comfortably. Knights just happy to be there after the Brian Smith meltdown.

Dragons v Eels
Won't see another 37-zip drubbing. Dragons in a tight one. Go Eels!

Reakon the NRL will change the rules next season to give them the power to move finals blockbusters between Sydney clubs to the SFS or Homebush.

Only finals versus interstate/regional teams should be played at Kogarah etc.
