Seeing he punked me out a wee bit just a joke ME
I did go and have a flick early this afternoon .But like I thought its not quite the right time just yet!!

Of course this little hour long flick helped with my over whelming passion .For a small popper fly that will work in some very shallow water ankle deep to be exact .And before u laugh some nice fish feed in ankle deep water of course I will keep the location private

Where are those pics taken I wonder? I think a football game was played nearby last night with 50 000 people watching from what I'm guessing.

Just an update
Yesterday I used a floating popper fly made from foam you can buy from a hardware store like mitre 10 or bunnings .I think 2 metres cost 82 cents .I painted this with bright yellow nail polish and made a tail from fake fur (faux fur) from spot light and on this one I drew on two eyes with a black texta pen.
What I noticed yesterday were things that fish may like to try and eat matched pretty closely the colour of this fly .
I have just made a green one this morning .Started yesterday but it fell apart this morning retied and used cheap fake coloured nylon hair that we bought a few years back from cheap as chips .This one is smaller.

Both colours have caught me fish in the past mainly on flies that sink .But yellow worked with a plain white body in the shallows.

Actually I never said it was you mighty eagles .I was on a fishing forum when I was told the garfish were back in the lake .
