Love it how most South Aussies go for the Maroons because of the similarities between how our competitions were screwed over by the evil big brothers.

You wouldn't believe how stroppy my NSW mates get every year about this.

Every year I explain my reasons for barracking for the Maroons.

And every year they crack it.

Every year.

Brilliant atmosphere, crowd split was probably about 40% NSW, 50% QLD, Neutral 10%, the last 20 minutes was fantastic, very good that NSW were able to put up a decent fight towards the end, becouse a few times QLD looked like killing the match off.
I seem to get the feeling that the NRL/Etihad Stadium forgot that the stadium has a roof, becouse the first 20 minutes were very smokey after the pre-match display

That win was made even more enjoyable knowing NSW thought they had a sniff with five minutes to go.

They're still bleating about Hayne's no-try. :((

One down. One to go.

Good win to the mighty Canetoads. Haynes Stepped on the line but i would have awarded the try. Bill Harrigan made the correct call in his eyes and he is a New South Welshman. But who care Queensland WON.
