Just following Tomic's progress through live scores on the FO site. Tough first up player to draw in Kohlschreiber but it'll be a hugely beneficial experience to play against a grown man ranked in the top 35.

Well he is being soundly beaten as expected. Could you imagine what would be going through your head as a 16 year old when you see just how much stronger, faster and more polished you have to be to go with these seasoned world class players? AFL rookies always comment after their debuts that they imagined footy would be really fast at the top level, but not nearly as fast as it turned out to be. I've heard people say it's comparable to the difference between watching a rollercoaster go by and then actually being on it.
Anyway final result - Tomic lost 1-6, 2-6, 2-6. A lot of unforced errors but on the bright side he managed to break serve in the final set.

Is it just me or is the French Open the least interesting of the 4 Grand Slams?
It certainly seems to get less media coverage in Australia than the other two overseas Slams.

Sorana Cirstea, aka greatest thing ever, just won her way through to the 3rd round where will she face Wozniacki. If you're a guy and don't go to that game, you're gay.

Ley Ley will win if ...
- he upsets Nadal by breaking his obsessive compulsive routine
- knocks over his drink bottle at the change of ends
- the umpire hurries Nadal up when he slows down the game
Not withstanding that, most likely result is Nadal in 3.

No chance of winning but Lleyton likes these types of matches, back against the wall, given no chance.
I think he'll push Rafa. 3 tight sets, maybe even 4 sets. I just want to see him test Raf!
LETS GO LLEYTON!

Caught the end of a story on FSN about one female player lodging a noise complaint against her opponent (not Sharapova).
Apparently the opponent was given an official warning -not sure if it's happened before...
The opponent complained that Sharapova doesn't get in trouble
It's about time the "scream queens" are stamped out

That’s funny.
Lleyton played well though, not upset. Rafa is just a freak.

No surprise there, Nadal is a class act, i never thought anyone would surpass Federer's number 1 ranking, but Nadal has and without much fan fare.
Must actually be up there with the best of all time, although that was said about Laver, Borg, then Sampras, then Agassi.
