Stayed up late last night/this morning to watch Manly take on Leeds in the Word Club Challenge Rugby. Thought it was a great game with some good old biff that one of the commentators rated the players on. Peacock (Leeds) started throwing punches, and missing, Perry (Manly) defended himself and landed every one of his punches, and got the free. I loved it. Nobody was seriously hurt, except maybe Peacocks ego. Maybe the AFL should loosen up on the rules for punch ons. Now you get 4 weeks for wrestling.

Anybody see the game or have any thoughts on the rules for this sort of thing in the AFL?

even though I wasnt around for the old days
looked like so much more entertaining to watch and how footy should be played!
you dont need to be a footballer anymore to play AFL
you need to be an athlete that can kick and mark a ball!
need to have players like diesel williams, dipper and what not still playing!
