As Brett faces what could be his last game at the Homes Dome tonight. I would like to say what champion he has been to 36ers good luck on his retirement

Quality player who should have been given the opportunity to make more of a impact for the Boomers.

And would have played more if Barnes and Goorgian weren't coaching them.

Saw Brett at the Adelaide Airport about two months ago.

If you could personify a champion with a crushed spirit, it would have been Maher.

What?? Maher was going to get more minutes than Gaze and Heal in an Australian shirt???

At best he was always going to be a bench player

An absolute champion no doubt about it. He would be up there with Andrew Gaze/Heal/Longley as the best Aussie to pull on a basketball singlet.

That 3 he hit in the last quarter to put the game beyond doubt on Saturday night was a perfect way to send him off. The crowd went spastic. Brett Maher is pure class.

Yeah, so be it , but he should never have been the 11th man for the Boomers (Catalini shouldnt have been the 12th either)

Was a great initiative by the sixers to name the court in his honour. Thoroughly deserved.

Has there ever been a more overrated point guard?
