Women's Equal Rights = FAULT !!

Well after watching the women's tennis final between Williams & Safina, I cannot believe the women get the same financial prize for winning the Open as the men.

Williams played a total of 15 sets of singles this tournament for $2 million. Safina played 17 games and choked it in the final for a cool $1 mill.

So far Rafa & Fed have both played 20 sets with a minimum of 3 tomorrow. However it's the length and number of games involved that shows how much more work the men do.

On your bikes ladies, and do equal work for equal pay.

Was watching tonight and my uncle had told me the same thing. At first i said that men were stronger, fitter etc..... but then i thought again and yes, he is right. Very unfair that they get the same money as men, they need to change the rules and make it more equal or make the prize money for men higher.

Dead right the men work far harder for their cash at Grand Slam events. Wimbledon continue to resist the push for equal pay and rightly so it is a joke that the women get the same $$$$$ as the men when they do far more work.

I also support Federer's call for alternating start times for the night sessions this finishing at 4am has dog's balls on it

Yep the equalisation of women's pay in tennis is one of the biggest cons of all time.

The advocates of this conveniently ignore the amount of time spent of court and have just used 'equal rights' to put officials and sponsors on a guilt trip until they complied.

I was saying this during the week. How many attacking female tennis players are there? It is all baseline hitting and see who can make the least mistakes. Boring as watching grass grow. And they only have to play a max of 3 sets. If you want equal pay, get out and f@$%ing earn it. The stuff you are dishing up is rubbish.

Williams total court time = 634 minutes (10.56 hours).
Rafa total court time SO FAR = 875 minutes (14.58 hours).

And that includes Williams hitting FOUR more aces then Rafa........
