Im not a huge tennis fan, but i enjoy watching the likes of Ivanovic, Sharapova, Kournikova....... etc.

A bit of a shame Sharapova couldn't make it out this year, not sure if Kournikova is playing too??

The women's side of the draw looks really open this year. The Williams sisters favorites, but thought Elena Dementieva and Dinara Safina had big chances in these conditions also. Ana Ivanovic's form is flucuating wildly at the moment, so hard to make a case for her until she can navigate through the third round at least.

Andy Murray's improvement in the last couple of years has been spectacular but can he maintain it here? Would have to be a show. The usual suspects of Federer and Nadal will certainly be up there - a lot seem to be writing Federer off to a degree, but he likes this court.

The outsider that appeals is Gael Monfils. Has been working very hard in the lead up to this and has bulked up quite a bit. If a few bigger seeds fall early and he can get through his first few rounds, reckon you could get a very good sight for your money at the $41 on offer from the site sponsor...

Andy Murray has never made it past a 4th round of a Slam, hardly a favourite like everyone is talking him up

Except for when he made the US Open final last year eh?

Actually, the more I like about it the more I agree. Monfils has a VERY favourable draw and if he's playing well there's no reason he can't make the Semi's and beat Nadal. He is someone that could thrash Rafa just as Gonzo and Tsonga have done the past two years.

I will be following the likes of Federer and Ivanovic.

Usually i would be following Sharapova, but she is injured, so Ivanovic can easily fill the void left by Sharapova.

She's more than retired, it's been reported she's pregnant now.

Who's the lucky bloke to knock her up?
Worst model that played a bit of tennis I've ever seen.

Bernard Tomic is going OK. Won the first set 7-6.

My two favourite players are:

Gael Monfils
Chris Guccione.
