Nathan Jawai (born October 10, 1986) is an Indigenous Australian professional basketball player who currently plays for the Toronto Raptors of the National Basketball Association. He was born in Sydney, New South Wales.

Nicknamed the "Aussie Shaq" or "Baby Shaq" due to his resemblance to Shaquille O'Neal, Jawai claims to not like the nicknames or comparisons to O'Neal.

Cairns must be wishing upon every star in the universe they hadn't lost him...possibly second only to Julius Hodge for the excitement factor in the NBL last year.

He should get a run with the Raptors especially with them being ordinary and light on in bigs.

i'd say nathan would be 4th, maybe even 5th in line at the raps!! Bosh, O'Neal, Bargnani, then it would be out of Kapono and Jawai for 4th, with Baby Shaq probably winning the battle purely because Kapono can play in the 2 spot, and Jawai is 2 inches taller and probably has 50 or 60 pounds on him.
