Going to be interesting tomorrow as its the first reverse grid race of the year (which I don't agree with).
Suits hometown boy Murphy as he came last in Race 1.

The reverse grid format is a joke, absolute worst thing to happen to the sport for a long time.
It'll get to the stage where the top teams won't bother finishing a lap in Race 1 to get a decent spot for Races 2 and 3.

Very happy mate, anything that puts Rusty back on top and if a Holden driver is going to get the points I would be happy for someone who was equal last in the drivers championship which Skaife was so it all worked out dandy! :D

Sorry mate, us Ford fans have jobs in the daytime!
You can make anything out of stats, feel free to compare Skaife and Ambrose's record of the last 3 years.
Just because Skaife isn't good enough to be wanted OS who cares?

Geezus mate, you're a bit behind aren't you, didn't they race 2 weekends ago? :?

lol you're right there, we have REAL jobs!

And we don't delete topics here becaue they're old, we leave them although I would lock a topic if someone was bumping one on purpose. Most people including myself like to be able to look over old posts hence why I don't prune anything off The Roost or SA Footy. Sorry if you don't like it, but most do.

Reverse grid races. For or against?

Im for. The crashes at the start of race 2 the other weak had nothing to do with reverse grid. Just someone got bunted and cars went everywhere.
I'm gonna break my rusty cage and run

Im for !
A little more action etc !
Tests the good drivers out, like skaife and ingall, to start from the back
and still finish 5th & 6th, is still a pretty good effort !

Im against as it rewards mediocrity which 9 out of 10 times means Holden.

Using the same logic we'll give every SANFL team in the bottom 4 the top 4 positions in Rd 11 to make it more interesting.
Makes a mockery of the sport as it would with others.

BUT I can understand how followers of cars that would be constantly near the back would be happy with it just like Sturt supporters would be happy in 2006 if we had the same thing in the SANFL!

Mediocrity is being in a 2 horse race and not winning one championship in the last 3 years.
Throw into the mix of the Minolta/secondary/whatever its called this year series when its a truer test of Ford v Holden when Ford dominate even moreso and its clearcut RRTW.
Bringing up anything that happened previously would be like South supporters bringing up the 1800s. Its all ancient history my friend.

Honestly mate, what are you on, if the mediocre cars keep dominating Holden WTF does that make Holden?
Worse than mediocre.
You're putting them down more than I ever would and you're supposed to be a Holden man!?

Honestly though why would anyone buy something made at Elizabeth?
Might as well as go to Smithfield Plains when looking for someone to build a computer!! :?

I wont even bring into the discussion Car of the Year Awards as it'd probably bring some mindless twit to bring sales figures into somehow claiming because something sells more that its better. Yeah right, that'd be like claiming Spewmante is better than French Champagne!
