How exciting is this!!!
Heard today 36ers premiership odds went from $31 to $15 upon Hodge signing.
Can we expect dominance this weekend? Or give him a couple of games to settle in...

one would hope he could dominate from the get go. the only thing that might not let this happen is not knowing ninnis.

he should be fit, coming straight from trying to get a gig with New Jersey. and he shold know most of the players reasonably well.

and i rekon schenscher and ballinger will thrive with julius on the court with them.

Great to hear him on 5aa tonight aswell, sounded genuinly excited about playing for the sixers again. Interesting to hear he had plenty of other offers all around the world (Inc Australia) and turned them all down to play for the sixers again. Keep the bloke here, can obviously play and I beleive if last year was any indication the sixers look to be at least a top 6 team at the end of the minor rounds.....

An absolute gun and the 6ers will be championship contenders now IMHO.

good for us he hates Europe!!!

Only thing that worries me is he is so close to the NBA he could get a call up any minute with an injury

I think his lack of a jump shot has scared off any NBA suitors and they would be more likely to sign a player from the NBA D league then fly someone out from Australia to cover an injury.

Thought he would have made the cut at the nets. One game they gave him a 1/4 to show what he could do and he got i think 4 points and 4 assists in that time only to be shown the door a few days later. Form a sixers point of view tho i am glad they did.

He's got 17 and its not even half time yet.
Scary part about it is he'd not even the high scorer!

Saw my first 36'ers game for a few years tonight, unfortunately Hodge had a few injuries in the last qtr, which pretty much spelt the end for the team :(

Hodge is a star,as is Ballinger but they need everyone to contribute for this side to gel and win.Last night they scored 56 of our 100,just not enough contribution from the rest.Been to every home game this season and the Sixers biggest problem other than the refs is their lack of help in D.Big Luke at times is a liability just too slow to react he gets scored on far too easily and like Carfino said on fox last week he needs to be more aggressive offensivly. In other words if he has the ball under the basket he has to dunk the bloody thing.Far too many offensive boards from fee throws last night for the Dragons which can kill you in a close game. The season aint over but at 5 and 9 things are starting to slip away and they must put a winning streak together fast.

He's amazing, it was the first time I'd seen him since last year and he's taller than what I remembered, he has a real NBA look about him.The NBAs loss is our gain.
Isn't it a nice change for many years in dominating the board especially the offensive boards last night?
