Aus v Ire International Rules

Postby JAS » Wed Oct 22, 2008 5:25 pm

I believe the game is on this Friday night over there...is it on your tv?

If so could someone post the start time...don't worry about converting it to UK times I can work that out :D Hoping I might be able to find online coverage :?

I am not sure what time the game starts and that but GO THE AUSSIES!

Although this game doesn't mean much, i hope the Aussies win.

Can't wait to see David Rodan play! :)

Dont mind watching the International Rules series, I think its a bit like 20/20 Cricket, ok for a small series before the real thing starts!

I do wish that they put the Gaelic Footy from Ireland on Foxtel on the regular package rather than it being on Setanta Sports though, that would be good to follow through its season!

If the Irish can get within range of the net it could be interesting. Michael Firrito is goalkeeper for Australia and in a practice match the other night standing in goal for the WA Gaelic team he struggled a fair bit. He had let in 5 goals by early in the game!

This facet of the game could be an achilles heel for the Aussies.

He has been sacked as the keeper and Malthouse has given it to Nathan Bock

Perhaps. The ethnicity of The Great Vincenzo is the subject of debate. General consensus is third Irish Stayer, third Serbian Superstar and third Crushing Croat.

Cheers for the links dinglinga.

Just checked our tv listings and from what I can tell the game is being shown in the UK on Setanta...at midnight tonight...that's 0830 tomorrow your time  ...will probably be live in Ireland though so hopefully that will be what they stream. I don't have satellite and thanks to links like those I don't need it either :D

Others I have bookmarked Irish rugby games that might show it are...
