anyone else getting slightly aroused at the thought of bathurst this weekend? i cant wait, having a projector TV in the shed with a heap of mates, including a BBQ brekky and lunch. ofcourse there will be the penalty beers when commentators say certain phrases.
for the record i think the blue oval will retain the title in 08 although i dont think lowndes and whincupp can do it 3 in a row. for mine i think frosty and richards are a good show followed by tainder/skaife and davison/junior.

Absolutely love Bathurst, but you know there will be some dodgy safety car about 10 laps from the finish to make it look like a close race.

i know, $hits me to tears that does. gone are the days when you needed the strongest car all day. now its only in the last hour. still cant help but get excited after a few hours (and beers)when my fav driver (or the one i have money on) is up by 30 seconds!

Best weekend of the year. It's one day that is totally off limits as far as any family activities are concerned...

FPR seem to have carried on with the pace they had last year. I reckon it's still very hard to go past Lowndes/Whincup though...

GO FORD!!!

the 888 car seemed to have a few problems with tyres, pit crews looked a bit concerned yesterday a couple of times. i reckon frosty and richards are a good show. followed by tander/skaife.
hope 888 can make it 3 in a row thouhg. would be massive!

The withdrawal of car 15 means there are only 26 cars now. Two huge crashes at the mountain today. Radisich going head on into the wall was a nasty one, and he was lucky to escape with just a broken ankle. The other one today was also quite bad, with Darren Berry driving in the Mini race going head on into the wall coming out of the Dipper. His car had to be cut in half for him to be lifted out, and sounds like he is in a pretty bad way, with the only update given is that he is breathing.

How sweet was that?
Great that I actually got to enjoy it this year unlike last when there was a bloody footy game on.
Dragged the TV out near the BBQ and Esky early and had a great day.
Man oh man, how good are those Fords?
3 in a row and 6 of the top 7 in the championship are all Fords now.
Drives of the day were Lowndes and Courtney.
Best moment of the day was Tanders effort at the start of the race.
Another one for the good guys! :D
Ive only had a red and white Falcon for 2 years but aint they the fastest cars going around? 3 Bathursts in a row! :D

Somewhat surprised to see Ford make it three years in a row - Probably wont hurt sales of the XR6 Turbo! :D

Enjoyed watching the Bathurst today, yet still wish it was like this!
