Hodge is a key, if they get him they will finish Top 2, if not I still expect them to be around top 4 with Melbourne, Perth and maybe the Dragons.....

Looking at his performaces in the D-League I reckon he will get another shot at the Show, therefore we wont see him -

Pity we couldnt hold onto Ng

Is Ng a better prospect than Hill? The team would only be able to have one or the other wouldn't they??

If they get Hodge and a bit of luck they'll go bloody close.
I doubt they'll get Hodge back though, he's too good.
Ng should get together with Ryswyk from North and play a game of Wheel of Fortune.
I'd like to buy a vowell thanks.

The 36ers continue to go the in the right direction for the upcoming season, having signed former Boomer Aaron Bruce, who has finished his four year stint at Baylor University in the US. Just need to now make the right call on the final import spot and we are looking like a quality side.

Think i might return to the Powerhouse (or whatever its now called) for the first time in many a season. If this new import is the business then the sixers should be right amongst it. Still worried that Schensher may not be up to the standard we're expecting.

Also with less teams it means the overall standard of basketball should be much higher. Would have preferred that it was at the expense of some of the newer teams rather then the traditional franchises but still i think the 2008-09 season will be the NBL's best since its glory years of the mid 90's

Judging by the report in the paper today, the Sixers had a reasonable hit out in a trial game, with the NZ import apparently being the standout, and Schenscher contributing well as well. They just lost, but had a few players out, including their new American import.

We'll find out tonight i guess if the sixers are "back in town". We should beat townsville at home but with a new team it might take a few weeks to get going...
