Replacement for Ambrose is James Courtney, and Pirtek will not be sponsering SBR in 2006.
new sponser is Jeld Wen http://www.v8motorsport.com/Forum/Board ... st&id=2037

Greg Ritter will be replaced @ Tasmania by David Brabham

Was a bit shocked to hear the news about Ritter.

Can't wait to see how Courtney goes, obviously he won't be a star straight away, but sounds impressive on the track. Just hope Ambrose can make the most of this year, but actually want it to be Ingall (1st) and Ambrose (2nd) and have a defending champ.

Ford 1 Ingall
Ford 2 Ambrose
Ford 3 Lowndes

Time to bring back Mazdas, Nissans and minis, they'd be better competition than the rabble with Chev engines.

Even better, bring over Mustangs, then we'd see two really good cars fighting it out!

PS Who the *** is James Courtney?

we will see if you are saying that in a month when a HRT car has the Number 1 on its door.

Read this Wedgie http://www.tvnz.co.nz/view/page/488122/623253
pretty much just says about who he is, what he has done and things like that.

The only way a Crumpledore will get No 1 on its door would be from pranging and getting the other number rubbed off!

well if Murphy can round up #1 #9 and #888 on the side of his car at tassie, Skaife and Todd Kelly might have a good chance.

Things are getting desperate when you're relying on a Kiwi!
Throw a few sheep on the track and it might make things interesting.

SBR is owned by Kiwi's, maybe they could lend a hand.

Heard on the grapevine that, DJR "Dick Johnson Racing" has gone broke and will not be involved for next year.

unlikely, but Seton is gone next year, and Will Davison is in.

Good to see Jason Richards staying at holden and not going to Ford like other holden drivers have been.
