Phil Smyth, Bruce Bolden and Cal Bruton (take a hint) were names chucked around but instead the Kings have gone...

Yeah, I'm old Giants fan myself.

Sadly (as I love the sport) I dont have much interest in the NBL these days :(

Will Gorj run another Vic club into the ground?

Disagree, IMHO the lifeblood of the competition has been the success (mainly off the field) of teams like Townsville, Cairns and Adelaide and it was cash inflows to Sydney and Brisbane that actually sent the comp backwards. The NBL will continue and will be missing nothing. Might even be on the improve now.
