Greetings,

The Super 14 season kicks off tomorrow night so consider yourselves invited into the following Super 14 fantasy comp, the latest Hogg Shield event.

The provider is Virtual Sports (same as the safooty.net ODI comp running currently so no need to create any new accounts). http://super14.virtualsports.com.au

The league code is 935150

We have six spots available in the league and would like to fill all 14 rather than merge with another half completed league. Lock out is in 19hrs 25 mins.

regards,

REB

Welcome boys.

Here's a quick run down.

New Zealanders.

Crusaders - Kiwi side that is very strong
Chiefs - another strong Kiwi contender
Hurricanes - Underachieved last year but tipped to bounce back
Highlanders - Not as strong as the other Kiwi teams
Blues - A real contender. A gun side.

South Africans.

Bulls - Reigning Super 14 champs. A gun side
Sharks - Another top side who have recruited the French kicker Michilack. (sp??)
Cheetahs - Mid table unit, a bit of an unknown quantity
Lions - Crud, and suffering injuries to boot
Stormers - See Cheetahs

Australians.

Reds - Rabble. No forward pack which stifles a promising backline.
Warratahs - Great on paper but never seem to deliver for some reason. Looking very strong this pre-season.
Force - Expect them to improve this year.
Brumbies - Without Gregan and Mortlock I wouldn't be backing them with your money.

Just remember your reserves only earn half points so don't spend big bucks on reserves and that all players attract 'winning' points. See above for some sort of guide.

regards,

REB
