Well what a difference in weather conditions .Arrived at the lake just before 6.30 am and headed for the same beach that I had success on yesterday.
I waded up the beach until 7.20 just when all the small fish came out .Bang I am on to a tiny fish .And before you see the size ;D ;DI have to say since catching fish while wading they are putting up a hell of a lot better fight.
Then this little guy jumped on the line

I took the second picture to show you guys the colour of the Fly that has been working lately.
So while catching these small ones is ok I really wanted something bigger.
I headed off to the other side of the lake. For some reason I waded into the water at the start of the beach.Fourth cast in and the babies were still following in this fly .When Wham bang something big took this fly .I started walking backwards and trying to keep pressure on and bring line .
Thinking this is the fish I have been dreaming of line going off the reel at a fast rate .Finally I put some slight pressure on and you guessed it :'( :'( :'( :'(.Line snapped lost fly :'( (lucky I can tie it again)
So sad as I was I tied on another fly and as I cast out with my back to the wind the biggest birdnest in awhile took hold of my mono leader.
And I thought thats it I'm going home :o :o until next week ;)
