the nrl grand final

as we know there has been some discussion about changing the time to the start of the grand final well it is official it is 5.00pm
i realise it'll be good for tv & sponsors & possibly the supporters but is it fair on players ?

I suppose its a fair comprimise between the 7pm start it was this year and the traditional 3pm start.

They played night grand finals for a while

Yeah, but like the SANFL Grand Final it's on a bloody Sunday!
Sometimes (like this year) there isn't a public holiday the day after!
Lotta sickies on the Monday for the winning club's supporter base!
